Michael Jackson: The Experience – Over 2 Million Copies Sold

Michael Jackson: The Experience may have received some pretty bad reviews when it was first released, but it doesn’t seem to have stopped people from buying it. In fact, recent reports show that over 2 million copies of the music video game have now been sold worldwide.

According to a recent article written by Matthew Reynolds over at (sourced from Gamasutra), 90 percent of the sales recorded were just on the Nintendo Wii. Michael Jackson: The Experience was released on November 23rd, 2010 for the PSP, Wii and Nintendo DS.

There is also great news for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners who want to purchase the game, as Ubisoft has just announced that Michael Jackson: The Experience will be arriving for both consoles on April 12th and will have support for the Move and Kinect.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will also feature a couple of extra songs, such as “Blood on the Dancefloor” and “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You.” The PlayStation 3 edition includes Facebook support, which will allow users to upload pictures onto their Facebook pages.

As Marko Djordjevic over at reports, the PlayStation 3 version will also feature microphone support, just in case you want to sing along to the tracks as well. Will you be buying the game for your PS3 or Xbox 360, or have you been put off by the bad reviews?
