Metal Gear Solid 5 PS4 console with Fox Edition

We have some excellent news for those of you that consider yourselves to be Metal Gear Solid hardcore fans, especially if you are partial to a bit of collecting as well. Konami and Sony have just announced and confirmed that a special Metal Gear Solid 5 PS4 console will be releasing, known as the Fox Edition.

Hideo Kojima has been known to release limited edition consoles in the past and it’s great to see that dedicated fans will once again be able to add to their collection with the Fox Edition console.

We can confirm that the official price of the MGS5 PS4 is ¥46,980, although we don’t have a UK or US price to give you sadly. This console is going to be available in Japan on March 20, so we’ll have to wait and see how long it will be until the same package is available over here.

The design features a golden Fox Hound crest, along with the stylish text ‘Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes’ next to it. There’s no denying that this is a thing of beauty indeed, but how many of you are now regretting the fact that you didn’t wait for a themed console like this one?

Let us know if you have a PS4 console, but are still planning on buying this when it is released purely for collection purposes.

Don’t forget to check out the MGS 5 PS4 Vs Xbox One comparison details that Konami released earlier this week too.
