Metal Gear Solid 5 exclusive parity on Xbox One, PS4

We recently confirmed to you that the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes would be coming with some exclusive content not contained on the Xbox One version of the game. In a surprising turn of events, it looks like Hideo Kojima has extended the hand of generosity further – by confirming that the Xbox One version is also going to contain some exclusive content.

At the moment, we don’t know what this exclusive content is, but we definitely know it is coming. It was first confirmed at the Xbox One launch event by Spike TV, and again confirmed by Microsoft when they showed this fantastic 2014 sizzle reel showing upcoming content.

As far as we’re aware, this could be the first time when we have seen a console game contain exclusive content for both Xbox and PlayStation versions of a game. Can you think of any other games that have done this in the past?

Either way, it’s a nice bit of news for Xbox One owners after finding out that the classic Solid Snake content is going to be PS4 only. We’ll let you know the minute we have details on what the Xbox One content will include.
