While Xbox One gamers are looking forward to playing as Raiden in their version of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, PC gamers may be wondering what has happened to Raiden’s personal affair with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The console versions have been out since February, but a PC version has gone missing ever since. Konami originally updated us on progress this October, but still were unable to provide a solid Metal Gear Rising PC release date.
Fortunately though, we do have some good news for you. When speaking in their recent podcast, Konami has revealed that Metal Gear Rising is in the final stages and could be released via Steam ‘any day now’. That means that the chances of a 2013 release for the PC version is still very much on.
When it does finally come out, don’t forget that it will be graphically superior to the console versions and will be running at a solid 60FPS. Hideo Kojima even went as far to say that it looks ‘beautiful’ on PC.
So there we have it. We could be seeing Metal Gear Rising on Steam this week or the next – keep your eyes peeled.
