Mercedes-Benz G-Class 2002-2010: Turn Signal Recall

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has recently decided that the Mercedes-Benz G-Class’ turn signal covers are not up to standard, therefore a recall is taking place to replace the sub-standard parts.

Over time it seems as if the vehicle’s front turn signal covers deteriorate, which could potentially result in fellow drivers not seeing your turn signals, this poses an obvious to public safety.

Apparently 3,522 G-Class owners are affected by this recall, all recalled models were manufactured between 2002 and 2010, if you own an affected model you should head down to your local Mercedes dealer, they will install a new turn light units free of charge.
