Mercedes AMG GT interior pre-New York Auto Show

There was a huge party going on with Mercedes-Benz, as they prepare for the 2014 New York Auto Show, which opens its doors for the press today. As a way to help kick the event off, the company has teased a couple of images of the Mercedes AMG GT interior, although we won’t get to see the car at todays event.

The interior of the Mercedes AMG GT is an exquisite place to be because of the way in which it has been crafted, and this is just another reason why we cannot wait until later this year.

We expect the Mercedes AMG GT will be unveiled later this year at either the Paris or LA Auto Show, although we are sure the German car manufacturer will let us know in due course.

A recent report from Autoblog has learned that the AMG name will be an even bigger part of this new car, hence why there will not be the name Benz in the name. We are uncertain what they mean by this, but our best guess is that this will be an even more hot-blooded race-inspired car.

It is currently unknown if the Mercedes AMG GT will be known as a 2015 or 2016 model, seeing as though we have no clue as to its public release. Again, we should learn more, later this year — just hope we finally get to learn the Mercedes AMG GT price and performance figures.

However, we do know that it will make use of a V8 engine, although its displacement is currently unknown. Whatever happens, if the rest of the car is as nice as its interior, then the Mercedes will be onto a winner with the AMG GT.
