Memphis Depay punished in Man Utd FIFA 17 ratings

We’re back with more FIFA 17 news for you and thanks to the recent FIFA 17 gameplay leak, we can bring you potentially massive info with regards to Manchester United FIFA 17 player ratings.

Those in attendance at E3 2016 were able to play the game at EA Play on the show floor and two of the teams playable in the demo were Man Utd and PSG.

As a result of this, we can see that many of Man Utd’s players already have adjusted ratings compared to base ratings in FIFA 16.

We need to stress that EA could alter these ratings by the time FIFA 17 ships in September but for now these are the major differences that we spotted so far.

FIFA 17 ratings list for Man Utd:

Depay: From 81 to 79
Rooney: From 86 to 85
Young: From 80 to 79

Martial: From 77 to 78
Lingard: From 69 to 76
De Gea: From 86 to 87
Smalling: From 79 to 83

As you can see, Memphis Depay has paid full price for his poor season by being punished with EA’s new rating of 79 compared to his 81 rating in FIFA 16.

Elsewhere, there’s also slight downgrades to Rooney and Ashley Young, but a huge upgrade for Chris Smalling who goes from a 79 to an 83. You’ll also be very pleased to see that De Gea has been rewarded with a new 87 rating in FIFA 17.

Once again, these ratings may change but give us your thoughts on them below. Does Depay deserve the downgrade, but not Rooney?
