Medal of Honor (PS3, Xbox 360 & PC): Sequel and Sales Expectations

It has recently been revealed that EA’s upcoming Medal of Honor could potentially have no sequel, this is because the game’s executive producer has been set a sales target.

If Medal of Honor does not sell at least three million copies there will be no sequel, to be honest this seems like an easily achievable sales target, especially with all of the promising Medal of Honor news we have posted recently.

Earlier today we revealed that the multiplayer mode looked very similar to Modern Warfare 2, which is by no means a bad thing, MW2 sold almost 5 million copies within its 1st 24 hours, therefore this target should be easily met.

There are some critics who will not buy the game as you can play as the Taliban, however the developers responded by saying “Most of us having been doing this since we were 7 — if someone’s the cop, someone’s gotta be the robber, someone’s gotta be the pirate and someone’s gotta be the alien”.

Do you think that playing as the Taliban is disrespectful to soldiers who have fought against them?
