Mcdonald’s UK Mobile app ordering confirmed for 2017

If you are a fan of Mcdonald’s, things are going to get a lot more interesting this year. It has just been confirmed that Mcdonald’s Mobile app ordering is coming to the UK by the end of 2017.

The new format is currently being trialled in the US and following on from that, the UK is on the list of the next countries that will be following suit.

This comes after the successful rollout of self-service kiosks and following on from rumors that Mcdonald’s are finally going to consider the option of home delivery.

What you may not know is that Mcdonald’s plans to incorporate geo-data inside the app so it will be able to determine where a customer’s location is when they are using the app to order food.

That way, they will be able to prepare it when they are close to a store in order to ensure that the food served remains fresh just as it would when ordering in store.

There are no firm dates attached to mobile ordering yet, but we’re sure Big Mac lovers will be rejoicing over this nevertheless.
