Mazda Hazumi concept design prematurely leaked

As we look forward to this year’s Geneva International Motor Show it seems a leaked concept design for the Mazda Hazumi has surfaced on the internet ahead of the upcoming show. A teaser image of the new Mazda recently emerged as a possible first official shot of the Hazumi less than a week before its motor show debut.

The upcoming Geneva International Motor Show will run from March 6-16, 2014, and we expect to see some great new entrants, as this concept design could be a rival to the new Ford Fiesta. Some may feel this shows a clear indication that this was inspired by the new Mazda 3 with a three-dimensional shield-shaped grille, which meets with the headlights.

Auto Express runs through what can be seen in the image including the high-waistline and narrow glass area as well as a prominent rear spoiler delivering a sporty profile, although the massive wheels and low down bodykit make this look like an aggressive yet attractive design.

We are a bit light at the moment when it comes to specifications and technical details, although we are looking forward to finding out more about this at next week’s prestigious motor show.
