Marvel Vs Capcom 3 (Xbox 360, PS3): Release Date is Spring 2011

Just as expected, Capcom has officially announced Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and has also given the game a sub title: Fate of Two Worlds. The game will be coming to both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles.

As reported from VG247, Capcom has said that the game will be released sometime in Spring next year, although there was no mention of a release for PC.

The game will be built using the MT Framework engine, which was also used for Resident Evil 5 and the upcoming Lost Planet 2. You’ll also be pleased to know that 3 on 3 tag matches has been confirmed, so it pretty much is looking like a must buy for fans of the previous two games.

Here is what Capcom had to say about the game: “Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has been one of the most requested titles for us to produce by our fans. Our Capcom development studio is creating the most epic fighting game ever developed and Marvel’s input into that process has been invaluable.”

You’ll find the full press release over at VG247, don’t forget to check out our character wish list thread here.
