If you’re one of the many gamers that have been waiting to hear more information about the much-awaited Marvel Universe, you’ll be really pleased to know that the developer — Gazillion — has recently revealed the very first details for the upcoming MMO game.

As Josh Augustine over on the website recently noted, Gazillion held a special press event in San Francisco recently and although they didn’t actually show the game itself, they did reveal quite a few details including the fact that the MMO will be free-to-play.

The Marvel Universe game — which is being developed by Secret Identity, a sub-group of Gazillion — will enable more than one gamer to play the same Marvel character, which the developer believes will create ‘lots of opportunities as well as lots of problems.’

Some of the characters that gamers will be able to play as include Captain America, Nova, Spiderman, Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine and Hulk. The Marvel Universe game, which is being written by Brian Michael Bendis, will enable gamers to play more than one character.

Although it wasn’t actually confirmed, it was hinted that the Marvel Universe MMO could well come to consoles after it is initially released on PC. What do you think of the Marvel Universe game from the details that have just been unveiled?
