Marvel Future Fight Tier 2 characters confirmed

We have some important details to bring to Marvel Future Fight now, specifically what looks to be confirmation of Netmarble’s plans to introduce Tier 2 upgrades for all characters in the game.

A screenshot has been discovered from the recent 2.1.0 update tease, a screenshot which had been cropped by the US version of the official forums to hide this information – but not the Japanese version.

Take a look at the cropped version here, then the Japanese one below showing a slightly different image but with the confirmation of Winter Soldier and Captain America now with a Tier 2 upgrade.

All sorts of feelings will be creeping in now we expect, namely what kind of materials and resources will be needed to take every single character to Tier 2.

This could be Netmarble’s answer to Year 2 of Future Fight from this point on, with many players having already raced through the game and have a full roster of 6-star heroes.

For those that are just starting out though, this could turn out to be bad news for you. We don’t know the full details yet so we can’t say too much.

Remember that as of now, Tier 2 is exclusive to Black Order characters only but this now looks set to change.

However, take a look at the screenshot for yourself and leave your thoughts below. Some players on Reddit have previously said that if all characters are heading for a Tier 2 upgrade, they will quit the game.

Are you strongly against upgrading again after 6-star, or are you fully supportive of Netmarble’s decision? We’ll update you when we have official news on this.
