Marvel Avengers Alliance Spec Ops 18 may be live, but that is not the big talking point at the moment. Developers Playdom have finally given players a second training slot, but at the cost of 100 gold which is well out of the reach of most players.
Playdom has been teasing the 2nd training slot for the game for many weeks now and players had hoped that it would come at a reasonable cost to their resources. Some expected to pay silver, others expected a covert task to unlock but perhaps nobody expected 100 gold.
In our opinion 50 gold would have been a more fair price for the content as we can already see that there is a huge backlash with unhappy Marvel fans who are not willing to spend 100 gold under any circumstances.
It’s a bit surprising too we feel, especially in the past when Playdom would at least test the waters with variable gold prices in preparation for a big game changer to see how much their community would be willing to pay.
@MAAInsiders I hope that's not the final price cuz that's a really messed up way to treat the fans that have been asking for this.

It is 100 gold though at the moment and it looks like it will stay that way unless players make their voices heard and known to Playdom. Training to level 14 has become a difficult task in the game at 500,000 silver each time.
A second training slot makes this process a lot more stress-free, but is 100 gold simply too much to ask for? Many players are telling us that they will just save their precious gold for weapons and gadgets instead.
Let us know how you feel about this.
