Maruti Ciaz pre-launch bookings in India imminent

The Maruti Ciaz price in India will soon become available to us seeing as though its launch is expected to be in September, although we should be able to learn details of this vehicle within a few weeks because that is when Maruti Ciaz pre-launch bookings are said to begin.

Not much is known about the upcoming Ciaz, although we do know it will come in petrol and diesel. The former will be a 1.4-liter engine and have a power of 93.9 bhp compared to a 1.3-liter Multijet diesel engine pushing out 88.76 horsepower. The petrol version will have a choice of automatic or manual transmission, whereas the diesel will be manual only.

As for the Maruti Ciaz interior, we cannot tell you much, but Maruti-Suzuki has hinted that it will have improved seating when compared to its predecessor, the SX4. One of the reasons for this is because its length is expected to be 4,545 mm, which makes the Ciaz longer than its two closest rivals, the City and Verna.

What can we expect from the Maruti Ciaz in India – We do not expect the production model to be like the concept model seen, and its interiors could resemble that of the Swift family. Let us hope that the tires are fatter than those seen in the images, as they won’t offer enough ground clearance on Indian roads, as we know some of them are very bumpy.

There is a concern with services and spares, as we have seen time and again how Maruti-Suzuki prices are costly than most of their competition. We could be very wrong, so let’s just wait and see what happens in August, as this is when IndianAutosBlog suspects we will find out.
