Mario Kart 8 Rainbow Road Vs N64

We have some fantastic news to share with those who are looking forward to picking up Mario Kart 8 on Wii U. The game has been in development for quite some time, but now it finally looks like Nintendo are ready to show the game off in public ahead of the big launch this May.

We now have confirmation that a fan favorite is returning to the next game. Mario Kart 8 Rainbow Road 64 has been confirmed for the game, with Nintendo recreating the classic map from the N64 version of the game – and it looks fantastic.

To give you an exact idea of what this means to you exactly, we present to you a look at Rainbow Road on Mario Kart 8 Vs the original Rainbow Road 64 version on the N64.

It may not be better than the SNES version which we still think is ultimate, but it looks like many of you are really happy that Nintendo is bringing this track into Mario Kart 8. In fact, some of you are even saying that it is the best Mario Kart track ever created, so it’s great to see Nintendo giving the fans what they want.

Game is looking really top notch.

The Mario Kart 8 release date will finally land on May 30, so there isn’t long to wait any more. Watch the videos that we have included below and give us your reaction to the Rainbow Road 64 remake.
