Mario Balotelli Instagram erupts after Gerrard support

If you had any doubts as to whether Mario Balotelli to Liverpool would not go ahead, it now looks like we have had confirmation, thanks to Liverpool FC captain Steven Gerrard. Social media via Instagram has just erupted thanks to Gerrard who is now officially following Balotelli Instagram MB459.

We have already spoke about our excitement to the move by providing some teaser images via FIFA 14, but now he confirmation of Balotelli’s Liverpool transfer has come from the most unlikely source.

Liverpool FC have still not made the deal official, but thanks to Instagram it looks like it is now a foregone conclusion. Our images captured here proves that the deal is going to go ahead, as the captain of Liverpool wouldn’t just follow a player that has been in the headlines without reason.


This is now the confirmation that we need now and it once again proves the power that social media has when it comes to revealing breaking news before normal media methods and press releases.

We can already see that Mario Balotelli’s official Instagram page is going crazy right now and even more so now that Steven Gerrard is officially following him. It won’t be long before other LFC players follow suit as it clearly is exciting times for the club and for the fans.
