When it comes to getting justice for those who started the spread of a computer virus justice does not happen often, but when it does it is a nice feeling. We have learned that authorities have managed to smash a network of infected computers that spread the ‘Botnet’ Virus.

This is the same virus that infected more than 13m PCs around the world, which then set about stealing credit card and your online banking information. Of those infected computers, there were 40 from major banks and over half of the Fortune 1,000 companies.

There were three arrests made by Spanish investigators, they had been working with private computer-security firms who cracked down on the malware group, These alleged three ringleaders had first started their attack on computers back in December 2008, more arrests are expected to follow.
