Making of Cyberpunk 2077 image confuses release date

Within the last three hours we have seen a new image published for Cyberpunk 2077 on its official Facebook page, which states Cyberpunk 2077 Making Of On Behance. This is then followed with a day and date, Tuesday 15th Jan. If you have been following the news surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 then we’re sure you watched the teaser trailer already, which arrived only a couple of days ago. Those of our readers that haven’t seen the Cyberpunk 2077 teaser trailer can do so below this article.

There has been no official confirmation of the exact Cyberpunk 2077 release date at the time of writing, although we do know that it should arrive in 2015, which is a long time away by any standards. Most gamers feel that the next-generation consoles will launch by then and we could see Cyberpunk 2077 release on PS4 and Xbox 720, which looking at the recent teaser would make certainly make one of the most anticipated long-term games.


Hyping a game so early before release — considering the expected 2015 release for Cyberpunk 2077, it seems strange to some people that the game is being hyped up so much 2 years before launch. On the topic of console generations some gamers feel that Cyberpunk 2077 could be the “last big RPG of this gen, or at the very least it should launch on both generations.
