The Mahindra KUV100 launch date for India has finally been announced as January 15, 2016. That is not the only good news, as its official reveal expand how bookings were to start tomorrow.
What we know so far – There are to be four Mahindra KUV100 variants that you will be able to book for purchase from tomorrow, December 19, 2015 and those are the K2, K4, K6 and K8.
However, what we are currently uncertain of is the Mahindra KUV100 price, as that particular detail seems to have been omitted. However, the carmaker will need to inform us of this from tomorrow seeing as though that is when bookings will start.
What we know so far – This model is known as a KUV (Kool Utility Vehicle) and will come in a choice of four colors and is to compete with the Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Swift.
We are told that there will be two engine options, and these are the 1.2-liter three cylinder petrol and 1.2-liter three-cylinder diesel mFalcon G80 and mFalcon D75 respectively.
ABS is to be a standard feature, although airbags are an optional feature. We really cannot understand why this is not a standard requirement in India in this day and age?
Well, that is as much as we can tell you for now, and so we wait for full details to be released once bookings begin tomorrow.
