Magnavox 55-inch 55ME314V specs and review with price surprise

If you are still looking for the perfect budget TV, we have another great recommendation to give you. We’ve already told you about brands such as Westinghouse, Element and Emerson, but now it’s time to take a glance at Magnavox with a Magnavox 55-inch 55ME314V LED HDTV review.

Magnavox may be a brand that you haven’t heard of before. The company are based in the USA, but the TV itself is built in Japan by Funai – another interesting fact that may sway you towards a purchase is that Magnavox is owned by Philips.

Back to the point though, as this 55-inch model is currently selling with a low price for this month only. You should make a note of this as the Magnavox 55ME314V specs are not bad at all in our opinion.

For starters it features a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a 60Hz refresh rate, Magnavox’s own Brilliant Motion Rate 120 and digital noise reduction.

There’s 3 HDMI ports included with this model, along with a USB port for media needs and a VGA connection as well – meaning that you can hook up this TV as a PC monitor if you wish.

As you can see, the specs are good but not amazing. Price is going to be the key factor and we know that this TV is going to drop well below the $700 price from retailers such as Amazon and Target.

Are you interested in this Magnavox 40″ Class 1080p LED HDTV? Unfortunately there hasn’t been much feedback from other buyers about this model, but you can read some brief Magnavox 55ME314V reviews here and here.

We have however located the official Magnavox 55ME314V manual here which contains everything you need to know in detail about this model.

Does this sound like the TV that you want to pick up this month? Let us know your thoughts so far and the best price you have seen online. How much are you willing to pay for this model?
