Magical Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release excites

We’re getting closer to the Galaxy Note 2, we can feel it. After rumors online suggested that the Galaxy Note 2 was scheduled for an unveil on August 30, we can now bring you some further details on this as Samsung has now confirmed that an event will take place.

Rather than August 30th though, Samsung’s event will actually take place on August 29 at Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012 – so the rumors were sort of correct. In typical fashion though, Samsung hasn’t given any details on what devices will be shown so we still can’t confirm for sure that the Galaxy Note 2 will be attendance.

It does look likely though doesn’t it? What else can it be, considering that Samsung also apparently has an event planned for August 15 to show off the next Galaxy device? We have a feeling that this may be the Galaxy Note 10.1, paving the way for the Note 2 to be the main highlight at the end of the month.

We’re pleasantly amazed to see the sheer amount of interest in the Note 2, especially with a next-generation iPhone also thought to be on the way next month. It seems like a lot of you have your heart set on picking up the Note 2, despite the fact that only rumored specifications have been whispered about so far.

Having said that, it’s very hard not to overlook specs such as a quad-core processor, a possible 5.5-inch ‘unbreakable’ display and the inclusion of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean – Google’s newest mobile operating system. Put it this way – would you be very surprised if we don’t see the Note 2 at this event?

If you have a flexible timetable at the end of this month, head on down to Berlin on Wednesday August 29th at 6pm local time. Who knows, maybe you’ll even pick up a Note 2 as a freebie. Samsung are teasing a ‘magical’ product announcement – are you going to be first in line for a shiny new Note 2?
