EA’s leading Football title Madden NFL is back and they are letting the gamers and NFL fans to choose who will be on this years front cover. Today we’re going to look at some of the contenders for the top spot.
In the running this year are a range of different players, most notably, the coverstar of last years Madden Drew Brees who is in the line-up for a second turn at the cover position. Competing with him are the likes of Larry Fitzgerald (the 2010 Cover), Hakeem Nicks who scored 11 Touchdowns in 2010, and fans can even vote for ‘The 12th Man’, a symbolic reference to the supporters readiness, will and desire to help out their team.
Other contenders include Chris Johnson, Philip Rivers, Michael Vick, Dwight Freeney, Preyton Hillis and many more. The selection is quite wide and logic suggests that the a player who represents the team with the greatest backing will come out on top, but nothing is set-in-stone.
