MacBook Pro lineup for 2016 could be smaller

Apple have yet to announce the new MacBook Pro lineup for 2016, although we suspect that they will do so during their October event. While we do not know what changes there will be, there is reason to believe that the new model lineup could be smaller.

The reason for a smaller 2016 MacBook Pro range is because of rumors suggesting that the non-Retina model will finally be called time on. The strange thing is, some of you may have already assumed Apple had axed the non-retina MacBook Pro seeing as though it is well buried in the current lineup – so proof that they don’t really give it that much attention.

Even when you head to your nearest Apple retail store you will notice that they do their best to hide these non-Retina models away, and do their upmost to show off the Retina model instead – although they would seeing as though it has a higher price tag.

MacBook Pro upgrade release

Having said that, it does not make a great deal of sense to purchase one of these, especially when you could even opt for a refurbished full-on Retina model at a much cheaper rate than the one without. Ok, so you are not getting a brand new model, but it’s a small price to pay for a far better option.

In terms of the full MacBook Pro 2016 update list, all that we have for you so far is based on rumors, although if some of them come off, then this truly is going to be the best MacBook Pro upgrade we have seen in the past few years – so fingers crossed.
