Mac App Store: Buy Apps and Games Simply on OS X

Apple keep finding new niché’s, and although this one has been a little recycled, Steve Jobs hopes the popularity of the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod users will rub off on to Mac users with the release of the Mac App Store.

The Mac App Store is set to launch within 90 days, which gives Mac developers time to execute their apps before they release them into the mainstream.

Apple has always been about ease of use, and the Mac App Store demonstrates just that. Instead of getting a CD, going through boring menu’s and trying to find it in your applications, Apple have “revolutionized” the way apps are installed.

In just one step, you use the same password you use with iTunes and there is your app, on the Dock ready to use.

You can find out more information about the Mac App Store on the official website.

Do you think the Mac App Store will take off?
