LulzSec hackers claim CIA website outage as their work

Hacking has become a regular occurrence in the news of late and today we have yet more news the hacking group known as LulzSec. As you will be aware Sony has been the biggest victims of hacks lately with news of their PlayStation Network being hacked about 2 months ago.

The company then found that their Sony Pictures had been hacked by none other than the LulzSec group. If the latest hack claim is true there it seems there is no stopping this group who are becoming fairly notorious.

Their latest claim is that they are responsible for the recent alleged CIA hack. According to the report at Key103 the incident took place the same day that the group opened a telephone line for its fans so they could suggest potential hack targets.

The website became inaccessible on Wednesday but then was back up on the Thursday. LulzSec also wrote on their Twitter account ‘Tango down — — for the lulz’ adding more to their claim. A CIA spokeswoman said they were looking into the reports.

There is no proof that the website was even actually hacked at the moment or whether the claims themselves brought so much traffic to the site that it crashed. Check out the full article for more details by clicking the link above.
