Lulu app for girls on iOS, Android with mixed reviews

We recently saw the social craze with the Bitstrips app, but it looks like another craze is about to take off. An app called Lulu is currently attracting quite a lot of interest, notably due to the fact that it is an app that is only meant to be downloaded on iOS and Android by girls.

You can download the Lulu app for girls right now, and there isn’t a version for guys to use. The app has already received some raised eyebrows, as it essentially allows you to find and locate men that you know and give them a social rating for other girls to browse and comment upon.

It sounds like a bit of harmless social fun right? It may be just that at the start, but we have already started to see some users uncomfortable with the idea of ‘rating men’, especially with the repercussions that it may lead to.

Head to the Google Play store and you’ll see the Lulu App Android reviews are already mixed. Obviously there are a lot of the male population who find this new social app a little too much on the wild (and sexist) side, while we’ve noticed that there are a fair number of female Android users who are leaving negative review scores as well.

As the popularity of this app continues to increase, let us know your thoughts on the Lulu app which is designed for women only. Do you have any problems with it and also to our male readers, are you waiting for the Lulu app for guys iOS and Android app at all costs?
