LOTRO: Rise of Isengard expansion pack gets detailed

When video game developer Turbine first announced the Lord of the Rings Online: Rise of Isengard expansion pack back in November last year, they simply said that it would be arriving sometime in the fall of 2011. We now have a bit of good news, as the upcoming expansion pack has just been detailed.

As Pamela Blalock over on the website notes, the LOTRO: Rise of Isengard expansion pack is scheduled to be released on September 27th. Players can expect to see a new 24-player raid, three new regions including Dunland, Isengard and the Gap of Rohan, and a level cap raise to level 75.

The expansion pack is available to pre-order as from now, and does include bonuses that players can take advantage of right away. There will in fact be three versions of the Rise of Isengard expansion pack available: the Base Edition ($29.99), Heroic Edition ($39.99) and the Legendary Edition ($49.99).

Those of you that choose the Base Edition will receive the Rise of Isengard expansion, 25% XP boost for all characters on their account up to level 65, the Guard of the Isen in-game title and Steed of the Gap, a new in-game mount that comes with matching red cosmetic cloak for every character.

Meanwhile, the Heroic Edition includes the expansion, 1000 Turbine Points to use in the Lord of the Rings online store, 25% XP boost for all characters on the player’s account up to level 65 and the Steed of the Gap mount with a choice of matching cosmetic cloak and armor in red, green or white.

As for the Legendary Edition, this includes the expansion, the in-game Guard of the Isen title, 25% XP boost, 1000 Turbine Points, access to the Path of the Fellowship Quest Packs and all three Steeds of the Gap mounts with matching cosmetic armor and cloak in all three of thr previously mentioned colors.
