Lose Weight Via an iOS App: Diet Butler

We have seen a lot of diet and fitness applications become available, as it’s the time of year when many people would like to shift those extra pounds gained over the holiday period. A pretty clever application which is getting some good reviews from users has recently been updated.

Diet Butler- Daily Food Notifier Alarm with Virtual Fridge 1.2 is available for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The application helps and motivates users to stick to their diet plan. Diet Butler lets you input any foods and recipes, and a large database is included in the app.

With the apps calculator users put in their statistics for the day and learn their ideal calorie intake, it will use information like your sex, age and height to the hours/nature of work-outs you did for the day to work out what your intake should be.

A virtual fridge allows users to see what they are going to eat as soon as the app is opened. Diet goals can be customized by the user by selecting a specific plan, more diet plans will be added in future updates. You are even notified when it is time to eat with push notifications.
