If written reviews are not your favored method of checking out a new product before release, we have a video review for the new Samsung Galaxy S3 that may just take your fancy. This review in particular provides a in-depth look of the soon to be released device which is over 40 minutes in length! Time to get the popcorn out.

The device is now available to buy in some parts of Europe and will then go on sale later on this Summer in the US. The device is Samsung’s new pride and joy after the Galaxy Nexus and it is the first Galaxy phone to feature a quad-core processor – in Europe anyway.

The review comes courtesy of Android Authority and covers most aspects of the device from the handy customizable home screens that are easily switchable, all the way to a little session on S-Voice. One interesting aspect of the device that we get to see a lot of is the rolling sub menus that the top of the device when opening a certain app in the device.

The author of the video points out that the interface is something you would usually see on a custom ROM, and points out that the creator of CyanogenMod, Steve Kondik is currently working at Samsung now as a software developer. Is Samsung now starting to embrace the community by listening to the influx of requests to improve their much maligned TouchWiz interface?

If you are seriously thinking about picking up the Galaxy S3 as your next Android device, it would be a good idea to get introduced to the device fully with this 40 minute video review. Alternatively, if you would just like a much shorter overview, we’ve also picked out a nice little review from Slashgear as well.

What aspects of the Galaxy S3 standout for you the most? Is it all about the quad-core chip for you, or are you desperate to pick up an Android device which finally has a impressive Siri competitor on its books?
