Logitech reveals Touch Lapdesk N600 with multi-touch trackpad

We have some interesting news now for those of you that are thinking of buying a lapdock to use with your laptop or notebook, as peripheral manufacturer Logitech has recently revealed the new Touch Lapdesk N600, which comes with a multi-touch trackpad.

As Sean Hollister over on the engadget.com website recently noted, the Logitech Touch Lapdesk N600’s hollow frame houses a retractable surface that features a 5 inch, 3-finger multi-touch panel, some multimedia keys and a pair of left and right mouse buttons.

The device is powered by four AA batteries, which Logitech says provides around six months of usage. The Touch Lapdesk N600 comes with an anti-slip surface to keep your laptop in place, and a multi-layer heat-shielding design that protects you from the heat generated from the laptop.

All you have to do to get started is simply plug the Logitech Unifying receiver into the USB port on your laptop, and you’re good to go. However, unlike the device’s immediate predecessors, the Logitech Touch Lapdesk N600 doesn’t come with a fan or any speakers.

The device is expected to become available in both the US and Europe very soon, for a suggested price of $69.99. Would you pay $70 for the Logitech Touch Lapdesk N600?
