Link’s Crossbow Training: Sequel Rejected by Nintendo

It has recently been revealed that the Zelda director Eiji Aonuma had planned to release a sequel to Zelda Crossbow Training, however the release was rejected by Nintendo.

This information was recently posted on DigitalSpy following an interview between GamesTM and Aonuma, it seems that Nintendo were far more interested in creating a new addition to the Zelda series rather than a sequel to the mediocre Zelda Crossbow Training.

It is thought that the sequel which Aonuma pitched to Nintendo would have featured an improved multiplayer mode and on the-whole would appeal to first-person shooter fans.

As for the Zelda sequel not much is known as it is in its very early stages, as details emerge we will keep you posted.

Would you have liked to have seen a sequel to Link’s Crossbow Training?
