LG Optimus G2 video shows massive screen

LG has been teasing their G2 smartphone in the last few weeks, building up to what is going to be an exciting reveal on August 7 next month. However, we’re pleased to tell you that you don’t have to wait that long to see the device in the flesh. The LG G2 has seemingly leaked already on video and now is your chance to get a good look at the monster 5.2-inch display that the device will possess.

Consumers may have been slightly skeptical about choosing an LG smartphone over say one from Apple or Samsung in the past, but it looks like LG are growing wiser with each smartphone release. The Optimus G2 looks stunning and is probably the closest thing you are going to get if you are looking for an edge-to-edge display on the market.

We know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is bound to be one of the late entries on the market in 2013, but there’s no doubt that LG plan to eat into that market space with their 5.2-inch G2. The display is also going to be 1080p full HD quality, while other rumored specs are thought to include a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

This early video comes courtesy of 4Leakz and we’re very pleased to see that the quality is really good as well – no sign of a blurrycam anywhere. We have no idea how they managed to obtain this video of the G2 so early before the company’s announcement, but most of you are unlikely to care regardless.

Take a look at the G2 while you still can and let us know if you are interested in buying one over the Samsung Galaxy S4. Is that display too big for you, or perfect?
