LG Optimus G starts global release

LG’s most powerful 4G LTE smartphone will start its global release this month to over 50 markets and rave reviews have come from various territories in which it has already launched. The likes of Japan, Canada and the United States have had the opportunity to check out this new handset and according to LG this will add to the excitement of it launching in other LTE markets.

Dr. Jong-seok Park, the president and CEO of LG, recently commented about the latest Jelly Bean OS and improved software, assisting the Optimus G to become a contender for the title of premium 4G LTE smartphone. The worldwide roll-out is documented on LG Newsroom, along with details on how the Optimus G has been receiving accolades from consumers and industry leaders in regards to its powerful performance and thoughtful user experience.

The innovative hardware design includes Qualcomm’s advanced Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core processor, and the use of the current 4G LTE telecommunication network delivers fast data transfer speeds. Dr. Park feels that customers should be contemplating the LG Optimus G when looking for a smartphone, which will give them the best 4G experience possible.

On the official LG website they expand on the recognition of the Optimus G at the Consumer Electronics Show, under the category of wireless handsets regarding Innovations 2013 Design and Engineering Awards. The Optimus G was awarded because of its technical specifications, aesthetics and design, as well as how this product compares to others on the market. Additionally, this device also received CarbonFree Product Certification from the Carbonfund.org Foundation, a leading organization in the fight against global warming, as well as an authority on evaluating the impact businesses and individuals have on the environment.

Other accolades from around the world are mentioned including an Innovation Award for its Zerogap Touch technology at the Korea Electronic Show, and an iF Design Product Award back in November 2012.
