LG C900 (Pacific) Windows Phone 7: Possible name

Earlier today Alan Ng reported that the LG C900 Windows Phone 7 would be released on September 28th, 2010. What we did not know at the time was the real name of the new smartphone – that is until now. There have been suggestions that the name could be the LG Pacific.

We have to point out that LG has yet to make this official so could turn out to be a false rumor, but BGR did say that they learned of this name from someone inside the Korean phone maker.

The source said that LG has been using the name Pacific internally, so would seem that there is some substance to the rumor. We wonder how they came up with the name? What do you think of the name?

Not much is known about the LG C900 (Pacific), although we do know that it features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and will be on AT&T, which makes sense considering that they will be a premium carrier for Windows Phone 7.
