LG 55EM970V OLED HDTV price for UK pre-order

When we were treated to a peak at the production design of the LG 55EM970V OLED HDTV almost a year ago, we knew that this was going to be a little on the expensive side. Those fears have now been realized because this 55-inch TV is ready for pre-order in the UK for the price of £9,999, which is a little over $15000.

There is a catch (apart from that huge price tag) and that is the fact that you will only be able to pre-order this new TV from Harrods in Knightsbridge London. According to the source delivery is expected to be in July, although it will be worth the wait.

If you do have that kind of money burning a hole in your pocket and have reached an impasse in choosing a new TV, then hopefully the video below that offers a review over some of the features that make the LG 55EM970V OLED HDTV so special will help to influence you.

However, there is no getting over the fact that some of you will have the 84-inch 4K LG model at the back of your mind, but at double the price you really need to be committed to spending a huge amount of time watching the television, along with having a decent amount of disposable income, which as we know is a little tougher in this current financial climate.

We are sure that some consumers would say that they would never spend that kind of money on a Korean built device, but there is no getting away from the fact that LG and Samsung are at the forefront in TV technology, even if their build quality is not on the same level as the likes of Panasonic.
