LG 55-inch 4K 120Hz LED Smart TV 55UH6030 review delight

LG TVs are proving to be the number one choice this Holiday season as consumers look to save money whilst still looking for a new 4K TV with quality features.

The new LG 55″ 2160p 120Hz UHD TV fits into this category and we know that the LG 55UH6030 4K TV model is going to be offered at retailers such as Target with a big discount towards the end of the month.

LG 55″ 4K 120Hz LED Smart HDTV specs include a 55-inch 4K Ultra HD display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. It features 4K upscaling, HDR Pro, 3 HDMI ports with HDCP 2.2, built-in WiFi for smart apps and Trumotion 120Hz with a native 60Hz refresh rate.

That means with Smart TV apps on board you get instant access to your favorite apps such as Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube and a lot more.

With HDR Pro on this model you also get improved picture quality, but it is not 4K HDR so it may not be supported on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One S consoles which need HDMI 2.0a.

Overall though, it is a great TV especially for the price tag of $499.99 at Target if you manage to locate stock.

If you are considering a purchase, we recommend you check out the LG 55UH6030 4K TV reviews here at Walmart and also over at LG’s official product listing.

Do you have any questions about this 4K model? Let us know below! Also, don’t forget to check out the 49-inch version of this TV here, available at Newegg for a fantastic price this month.

I tried to purchase the 50 inch Samsung on Dell Black Friday. It appeared to be higher rated. Unfortunately, Dell chose to offer about 3 to the website and it sold out 30 seconds after 5pm. I was able to find this LG model at a good price….I’m wondering if anyone knows who makes LG? I seem to remember it was originally owned as a division of Zenith and then bought out by a Korean company. Is it a division of Samsung or a separate company entirely?

The person that wrote this article is not what i would call a expert in electronics. I have this tv i actually have the bigger 65 inch the 65UH6030 model and it is 4k HDR Pro. It is compatible with Xbox One s and Play Station Using the HDR picture sittings.

where does it say that its not 4k hdr i am looking to buy but that would be a deal breaker

The price tag really is tempting as the tv offers both 4k and hdr. I’m considering upgrading to a 4k tv solely for the purpose of gaming with the ps4 pro. I’ve heard of a few issues with lg tvs regarding incompatibility with hdcp 2.2 and also with very high input lag. Could anyone recommend if this tv is worth going for or whether i should go for something else if 4k console gaming is what im looking for?
thanks guys
