It’s no secret that everyone is looking to buy the cheapest TVs in the UK for the lowest possible price. While most are now on the hunt for 4K TVs, others are content to still look for Full HD TVs as an upgrade to the bedroom or just as a handy spare TV.
If any of the above fits your criteria, we have another solid recommendation for you to consider now with the LG 43LH570V 43 Inch Full HD Smart LED TV sold at Argos – currently available for £295 in November 2016.
LG 43LH570V specs include a 43-inch LED display with a full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, 2 HDMI ports, USB port, Smart apps such as Netflix and NOW TV, DLNA, Miracast and open browser.
We want to point out some observations though as a heads-up to buyers. Firstly, the HDMI ports only support 1.4 rather than 2.0, also the rather confusing description by LG of a 450 PMI motion rate for the 43LH570V.
For those that want to know the native LG 43LH570V refresh rate, it is 50Hz and certainly not 120Hz. LG nor Argos advertise the actual refresh rate so it could be a bit misleading for those who actually believe that it has a 450 refresh rate – that’s simply impossible.
For those that just want a casual viewing experience, 50Hz is going to be just fine and especially with a £295 price tag if you manage to locate stock in your area – those who plan to use this as a PC monitor for gaming though may run into problems.
For those that are a bit more suspicious on the refresh rates of TVs before upgrading though, give us your thoughts on this. Do you find it a bit worrying that the actual refresh rate is kept hidden away from the public listing? The LG 43LH570V manual doesn’t even highlight the native refresh rate either.
The LG 43LH570V 43-Inch Full HD Smart LED TV review page at Argos currently holds a 4.5/5 rating, which is still extremely good. Let us know if you are interested in picking up this model and if you have any other questions about it that you need answering.
