Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420s Now Shipping, Specs Recap

We have great news for anyone looking for a new laptop, Lenovo’s new ThinkPad Edge E420s is now shipping earlier than previously planned and can be bought as of today. In case you were unaware of the new laptop’s release, we can fill you in with a quick spec recap for this new model.

The basic $699 model will come with an Intel Core i3-2310M processor (we recommend that you upgrade to the Intel Core i5-2410M processor for an extra $50), genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64, Intel HD 3000 graphics, 4GB DDR3 RAM (up to 8GB supported) and a 250GB SATA HDD (a 128GB SSD can be chosen instead for an additional $350.00).

Like a lot of ThinkPads, this one also comes with a Fingerprint reader and WiFi b/g/n. It also has a Multi Recorder Optical Drive and a Lithium Polymer battery, also there is optional Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity which costs $30.
