Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid: Coming Soon

Lenovo have recently put up a pre-information page for the IdeaPad U1 Hybrid on their webpage, this pre-information page allows you to submit your email address so that you receive an email as soon as the IdeaPad is available.

Apparently the U1 Hybird is still on track, however no official release date has been revealed yet, that said we do know that it is “coming soon”.

Speculation is currently pointing towards a June 2010 release, pricing is not yet confirmed either, however rumors have stated that we can expect to see it priced at around $999.

The hybrid can act as a regular notebook which features an Intel Core 2 Duo CULV processor, a 128GB SSD and runs Windows 7 Home Premium, however when you remove the screen it can act as a capacitive touchscreen tablet, this tablet features a Snapdragon processor a 16GB SSD and a Linux-based OS.
