Lenovo A6000 Plus Vs K3 Note with price separation

There’s plenty of Lenovo smartphones hitting the sweet spot for pricing this year, even more so in India. The Lenovo A6000 Plus and Lenovo K3 Note would certainly fit that category with these newly released smartphones already being featured by Flipkart at very appealing price cuts with incentives, so today we will look quickly at Lenovo A6000 Plus Vs Lenovo K3 Note to see if it’s all about price.

You will find similarities with Lenovo’s Vibe UI on both handsets running Android and this takes away a choice based on software. The focus will be based on differences in price for India and specs, as this is the market where most interest currently lies for these mobile phones right now. With that said, both our UK and USA readers might also like to see a comparison for future purchases.

Battery Basics – while we don’t have detailed tests for battery life, we can tell you the A6000 Plus features a removable 2300mAh battery and 3000mAh in the K3 Note, which is also removable.

RAM, Storage, and Processors – both the handsets feature 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM, as well as microSD expandable up to 32GB. In terms of processing power, you will find a Adreno 306 GPU and 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor on the Lenovo A6000 Plus. The Lenovo K3 Note sports Mali-T760MP2 graphics and a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor, so this could certainly be a decider for some of Product Reviews readers.

Camera and Display – The Lenovo A6000 Plus falls short compared to the K3 Note in the camera comparison. You will find the A6000 Plus featured with a 2MP front-facing and 8MP rear camera that comes with autofocus and LED flash. Lenovo’s K3 Note certainly has the better specs here, with a 5MP front-facing and 13MP rear camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash.

In terms of display, the A6000 Plus lacks again with 294 ppi and a 5-inch HD IPS display at 1280×720. The higher spec K3 Note comes with 401 ppi, 1920×1080, and in a 5.5-inch IPS LCD full HD display.

Connectivity, Dimensions, Weight, and OS – You will find the A6000 Plus measuring in at 141 x 70 x 8.2mm and at 128g. The heavier K3 Note weighs 150g and measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 8mm. Both of these smartphones feature microUSB 2.0, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi hotspot, 3G, 4G LTE, and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi.

At the time of writing you will find the A6000 Plus running the older Vibe 2.0 UI running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, although Lenovo’s K3 Note features the newer Vibe 2.5 user interface along with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Price Factor – The Lenovo A6000 Plus price in India has been seen at Rs. 6,999 during Flipkart sales, and this is certainly less than the Lenovo K3 Note Rs 9,999 price in the same region and with Flipkart as well. You will find flash sales offering better prices on occasion, but there’s still going to be a clear separation between these handsets when it comes to cost.

If you are looking for a dual SIM smartphone in India, then you can’t go wrong with either phone, but if your budget stretches to the K3 Note then we feel the extra specification makes this the better buy. Thanks to Phones Review.
