If you are looking for a new camera for Summer 2014, one that you may want to explore is the Leica T. The newest camera from the company is absolutely beautiful with many critics and consumer Leica T reviews already saying how the Leica T looks like a camera that has been built with the same design traits used by Apple.
We have one professional Leica T review for you to check out now, courtesy of photo enthusiast Steve Huff who many of you have probably already heard about if you follow the camera social scene regularly.
He now has his hands on Leica’s latest creation and gives his opinion on whether you should consider a purchase for 2014. We have included his video review below, giving you a 30-minute in-depth look at what Leica T features are offered and some camera samples to show you the quality on offer.
The biggest talking point though is about the design. Steve Huff has said that “if Apple were to make a camera, the Leica T would be it”. Apple products are obviously world renowned for their polished design, so that is quite a statement to make.
The design process of the Leica T is also rather remarkable, with Leica keen to show that every single unit is made from a single block of aluminum which you can see demonstrated on Steve Huff’s full review in the link below.
There are also some thoughts on the inevitable Leica T Vs Sony NEX 7 comparisons that are being made, with Steve Huff going on record to say that the Leica T is not a “fake Sony NEX 7”, nor is it a copy of the Fuji X and Micro 4/3 Olympus or Panasonic cameras.
If you are already thinking about getting the Leica T for yourself, we highly recommend you check out Steve Huff’s full review here and also watch his video review below – it’s the only consumer review you need to see and we think it is much more beneficial seeing this personal account rather than some of the other critic reviews you may have seen online.
What are your reactions to the ongoing discussion on the Sony NEX-7 Vs Leica T debate, also do you think that the Apple-style design was deliberate?
