Leica M9 Ready for Pre-order: $6,995 on Amazon

The Leica M9 full-format digital system camera is now ready for pre-order on Amazon; all you need is a spare $6,995. We are not certain how popular the camera will be, as this is not the sort of price that your average consumer would pay.

What makes this camera so special is the hardware that is packed inside its retro case. The M9 stands out over other cameras of its type because of its large lens; this certainly helps with its high-resolution image quality. The size of the camera is 139 x 37 x 80 mm (5.47 x 1.45 x 3.15 inches).

The CCD sensor has been designed by camera experts Kodak, which is a perfect combination with the Leica M9 lens. This 18-megapixel camera has a low reflective lens, so is just one more feature to help achieve superb shots.

The viewfinder is a main part of the camera, as it helps you get right in on the action, you will notice that the person being shot is always in clear view. Amazon are not giving a date when they will release the Leica M9 for release, but it should not be much longer.
