Lego Ghostbusters preview at Toy Fair 2014

We have some amazing news for Lego fans now, as it has been confirmed that Lego Ghostbusters is finally on the way. Lego has hand selected a fan-made Ghostbusters set to build as an official product, bringing the iconic characters as well as the famous Ectomobile back to life.

It has been a long time in the making, but it’s great to finally see LEGO giving in to fan demand and making a lot of consumers very happy in the process.

The Ghostbusters LEGO set is real and it is going to be on sale this June. The LEGO Ghostbusters price has already been set at $49.99 in the US, which will include the four characters – Venkman, Ray, Egon and Winston.

Also included is the awesome looking Ectomobile or “Ecto-1”, which looks really authentic. This model has been inspired by fan Brent Waller and is now on display at the ongoing New York Lego Toy Fair 2014.

Those of you looking for an early Lego Ghostbusters review will have to wait a few months we expect, but we can bring you something to keep you busy, with an excellent video preview below.

It offers a detailed look at what you’ll be getting in the package and we can confirm that what you see below at the Toy Fair, is the final model which will be released in June for $49.99.
