Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D – New 3DS Trailer before Release

We have some good news for Zelda fans now, as Nintendo has just unveiled a brand new teaser trailer for the game. The official release date for the highly anticipated 3D remake is June 19th in the US, but this trailer should wet your appetites until E3 2011 at least where we are likely to see more information on the game.

You’ll be pleased to hear that this is a proper teaser trailer as well, none of those cutscene trailers that last 30 seconds with no gameplay, Nintendo has now shown off plenty of gameplay action, although obviously it’s in 2D as you’ll need to download it on your 3DS if you want to enjoy it in 3D.

The trailer lasts around 1 minute and 22 seconds and despite being a Nintendo 64 game at heart, the visuals look as fresh as ever, and dare we say it, it has to be an essential buy for all Nintendo 3DS owners when it releases during Summer. We’d even go as far to say as it’s the one game that Nintendo are relying on to drive sales of the console worldwide – it really is that important.

Are you planning to pick up Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 3DS? Are you one that is buying a 3DS specifically for this game? Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think of it.
