Learn to Play the Acoustic Guitar: E-Folk 1.0 for iPhone

A new application has recently been released which will teach users how to play the acoustic guitar. E-Folk 1.0 is available for owners of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Released by independent developer — David Palmerio-, the app is great for beginners with no musical knowledge required. There are eleven lessons which increase in difficulty, and are divided into three sections. Lessons are easy to understand, and offer technique and theory. Audio and movie recordings accompany the lessons.

With the aid of the application you can learn how to play the acoustic guitar in less than two months. Users start off learning the basics like how to correctly hold the guitar, through to learning about Barred Chords. There are even sounding strings to help tuning your guitar.

E-Folk 1.0 is available on the App Store for only $3.99. iOS 3.1.2 or later required.
