Latest HTC One eye candy, Z10 and iPhone 5 similarities

As we get ever closer to the start of the 2013 Mobile World Congress, the rumors of expected handsets becomes more frequent, such as HTC’s next handset, althugh this will be unveiled at a separate event next week. Earlier today we looked at how the HTC M7 might now be known as the HTC One instead, and now an image has been leaked online, and is rumored to be said device.

If we are to believe this leak then this eye candy could be the HTC One, but there is bound to be a huge response if this is the case because of the similarities that the smartphone has with the BlackBerry Z10 and the iPhone 5. Personally we cannot see this being the real deal, because if it were then Apple is certain to have a thing or two to say about certain aspects of the design, such as the bezel.

While we say we cannot see this HTC One image being the real deal, the source (@evleaks) has been reliable in the past. This white version does look pretty cool, but the black is sure to look better, although that is when you’ll have to look more closely to tell it apart from the iPhone 5. However, those drilled out speaker holes are very distinctive, something that makes it more of an HTC device.

Let’s say that BlackBerry and Apple had a love child, then this so-called HTC One would be the end result, we love how one reader has said that it looks like the front of a Z10 and the rear of the iPhone 5 at the same time, now that’s pretty strange if you ask us, but we can certainly see what they mean.

Do you think this is the real deal, or just another fake?
