Latest Faraday Future design direction hinted

Electric vehicles seem to be taking their time in grabbing a larger piece of the marketshare, although the Tesla Model 3 could soon change all that. Ok, so we know there is still a huge way to go, and that the current maximum range is still not enough, and so a major breakthrough is needed in battery technology.

We have started to see more and more electric cars being introduced or planned, one of which is the Faraday Future. We have already seen the FFZERO1, although this design concept was very outlandish. However, we have since seen a more reasonable-looking model, and so this now gives us a hint of the Faraday Future design direction.

There are still a lot of unknowns with this model, although we do know this is not going to have an over-the-top design, but rather one that resembles the BMW X6 and Honda Crosstour, which you can just about make out in this teaser image.

Faraday Future electric vehicle model

Looking closer at the outline of the image, and intended design of the upcoming Faraday Future vehicle, it looks more beastly than hypercar, which is what the FFZERO1 concept looked like.

While we can make out a few of the design features, so many details are still missing, and we still do not know when Faraday will finally share full details with us on their more practical EV.

Early concerns – The first is with the name, as Faraday Future sounds unimaginative, and so we really do hope this is not another of those scams. Next is with the image, because while the car looks long, it seems to have a short wheelbase, and so the overhang looks ridiculous.
