Latest eBay app update for easier Black Friday browsing

It’s the time of the year when consumers go crazy, as they shop like made to try to find a gift for someone, and this year we will see even more people do their shopping online using an app. Most of the big retailers have a shopping app, although one of, if not the biggest has to be eBay. Ok, so we know that it’s not what it use to be, but there are still some great deals to be had – you just have to search that bit harder.

With Black Friday 2016 fast approaching, eBay has felt the need to update its iOS app with a more friendly UI, and to also make browsing easier than ever. Giving the browsing experience a revamp right before the Holiday season is a good move, as users want to be able to use an app with ease, and not get confused in the process.

We can see the app was updated a few days ago, but we have only just noticed. So what’s new in Version 5.5.1? There is now a new way to browse by tapping Categories, as this gives you access to the best deals, top trending items and far more. Sellers will now be able to access iCloud photos, and there have also been several bug fixes and other improvements made.

Those other improvements include a revamp of ratings and reviews, so that more detail about a product is shown – which is even better for a potential buyer.
