With just over a month to go until the LA Auto Show opens its doors to the press and public, we thought now would be the perfect time to look at press day details and the 2013 schedule. We have already seen car manufacturers show their hand early and offer us a little tease of what cars they will debut at the event, which there are 22 in total at the moment.
The 2013 LA Auto Show press days will give us a lot to look forward to, one because they will be allowed to see these cars early, and two because it will be an even bigger event for them. The reason for this is because the press days will be spread over three days, rather than two.
Connected Car Expo — This extra event will be focused not on the cars themselves, but rather “connected car space,” which will detail how some of the biggest telecommunication companies work with car manufacturers to bring their technology into the vehicles we drive.
This will be the first press day for the event, which will be on November 19, with the other two days when the press will be allowed to look at the new cars we can look forward to, as well as those 22 debuts. However, what we will look forward to most are the 2013 LA Auto Show concept cars.
Speaking of the LA Auto Show 2013 schedule, it is certainly a packed one this year, which you can see in the full schedule here. You cannot download it yet, but we are told you will be able to shortly.
Going back to those 22 LA Auto Show world debuts, one of the latest to join the list is the Nissan Juke Nismo RS. The likes of Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche will also be on hand to show us what we can expect from them in the coming months as well.
